Consultation: Occupied Home


MAKEOVER and MOVE offers a walk through service with the realtor and homeowner. This service consists of assessing your property inside and outside. We will make suggestions and recommendations on how to prepare your house for sale. At this time, the homeowner can decide what tasks they want to take on, in order to prepare their home for sale. Or, the homeowner can hire MAKEOVER and MOVE to do the work for them.




Staging Services: Occupied Home


MAKEOVER and MOVE will prepare a home evaluation "action report", detailing the positives and negatives of the property, inside and out. Providing an overall score of the property, we will itemize all areas that need attention, in preparation for the sale of your home. MAKEOVER and MOVE can recommend painters, storage facilities, flooring experts, landscapers, services needed to help prepare your home for top dollar. MAKEOVER and MOVE will rearrange your existing furniture and accessories to create a space that buyers can envision as their home. If you choose this service, the consultation fee will be waived.




Staging Services: Vacant Homes


MAKEOVER and MOVE provides three different levels of staging. Viewing a vacant home can be difficult for buyers, as they cannot see the true potential of the home. We can stage one room or the entire house, depending on your needs and budget.


  • Basic Staging- Rooms such as kitchens and bathroom need little or no furnishings at all. Using simple accessories like towels, pictures and flowers will make the rooms more inviting. Creating vignettes in spaces that need a defined purpose.
  • Standard Staging- Key rooms such as foyer, living and family rooms, dining rooms, kitchen and master bedroom. These rooms will include rental furniture that is in trend and stylish. Using artwork, area rugs, lighting and accessories will allow the buyer to visualize the surroundings as if it was their home.
  • Premier Staging- All of the rooms will include rental furniture, using artwork, area rugs, window treatments, lighting and accessories. The home will look "model home" perfect. You want your buyers to emotionally bond with the home. Buyers want to envision themselves living in this warm and welcoming home. We do not live in vacant homes; therefore, it is hard for buyer to imagine himself or herself living in a vacant house.

Fees will vary depending on the homeowner's budget, price point of the home, furniture rental, accessories and square footage. During the initial "vacant home consultation" with the homeowner, builder or realtor we will determine which of the three packages will work best in order to sell the home for top dollar.




Consultation: Re-Design



MAKEOVER and MOVE will discuss with you your visions how you would like to transform your home. Weather its one room or more. MAKEOVER and MOVE will help you make your vision a reality, offering inviting, cozy, or functional living areas.

Once you have decide to work with MAKEOVER and MOVE, we will schedule an appointment with you on when you would like to have your home transformed. Please allow us 3-5 hours per room. We do prefer that you make plans outside the home that day. Treat yourself to a spa day, or shopping. Make plans with an old friend for lunch. Enjoy your day, returning to find your vision a reality.




Re-Design Services:


In today's economy, hiring an interior decorator or designer can be very expensive. Hiring MAKEOVER and MOVE to "re-design" your home is much more cost effective. We will use your existing furniture, accessories, lighting and artwork to create a brand new look. In order to create a new look, we may take items from other rooms, or go shopping in your home to find hidden treasures. We will re-arrange furniture, place lighting accordingly and hang artwork in proportion to your furniture. MAKEOVER and MOVE will analyze your room for missing pieces. Missing pieces could consist of throw pillows, rugs and lampshades. Remember, MAKEOVER and MOVE is always happy to shop for you, if needed.




Color Consulting Services:


Experienced as a color expert with Sherwin-Williams, Nikki can help recommend paint colors, wallpaper or any other decorating concerns you may have.

Fees will vary depending on how much work is involved per room. There is also a fee for any shopping excursions.
