About MAKEOVER and MOVE

Nikki Lattanzi-Tarleton

NikkiYou've heard the saying, "I don't know what I want to do when I grow up". Finally, at the age of 49 Nikki was all grown up. She figured it out when she transformed her first home in California from a boring beach side bungalow to a beach side beauty, using brilliant bold colors and creative ideas. With her husband Brian's transfer from California to Philadelphia, she took her 1960's out dated kitchen and created a very contemporary chic room using slates and granite. Brian is once again transferred from Philadelphia to New York. Currently residing in Wyckoff, New Jersey, Nikki refurbishes one more home, knocking down walls, and raising the ceiling to create an open living area for entertaining.

Nikki knew that decorating was her calling. After retiring from the advertising business of 25 years, Nikki is now available to create magic in your home. Making it warm, inviting, stylish and comfortable, whether you plan on staying or if you plan on selling.

Nikki is certified with the ODSDP (one day staging and decorating professionals), along with a membership of the ODDAA (one day decorating alumni association). Nikki is also a member of Cambridge Who's Who Executives and Professional Women. And, Nikki's business was featured in the April 2007 issue of Women's World Magazine.

Mary Beth Grant

Mary BethUpon graduation from Lasell College with a fashion merchandising degree, Mary Beth Grant took her creative skills to New York City to become a special events coordinator, creating eclectic and inviting moods for high- profile celebrity and charity functions, as well as Broadway premiere parties. After 15 years, and a move to the West Coast, Mary Beth pursued her career in fashion as a buyer and visual merchandiser for a boutique in San Francisco her eye for fashion, ability to create a welcoming environment, and ease in developing trusting relationships with her clients is a direct result of her passion for helping others look and feel good. Her interest in home staging sparked when she put her apartment in San Francisco on the market. Staging it herself, the apartment sold instantly for almost $1 million. Upon returning to Ridgewood, she joined forces with professional stager Nikki Lattanzi-Tarleton to introduce "Makeover and Move" Home Staging and Re-Design to the Northern New Jersey real estate marketplace.

"It's often difficult for the homeowner to emotionally disconnect from the house and see things objectively from the potential buyer's point of view", says Mary Beth. "With our expertise, we are able to de-personalize and de-clutter the home to give a more spacious feel and to keep everything flowing. We utilize what's already in the home or suggest renting furniture, if necessary. The key is to differentiate YOUR home so prospective home buyers can envision it as THEIR home"
